a) For new members, the membership fee shall be Rs. 2,00,000. GST shall be extra at actuals. The entrance fee shall be paid along with the application.
b) Both new and existing Ordinary Members shall continue to pay an annual subscription of ₹7,500 plus applicable GST, towards course maintenance. The course maintenance fee should be paid in advance for the year. An ordinary member does not pay any green fees.
c) An ordinary member can convert his / her membership to Life Membership by paying the difference in the entrance fee existing at the time of conversion.
a) Life membership has an entrance fee of Rs 5,00,000, plus applicable GST. The entrance fee shall be paid along with the application.
b) No annual subscription or green fee shall be payable by Life Members.
a) Institutional membership will be given to eligible companies or firms on application and approval by the Committee and on payment of Rs 10,00,000 lump sum, plus applicable GST.
b) The Company will be entitled to nominate in writing any three players at a time to use the Club facilities.
c) Institutional members do not pay any monthly subscription or green fee.
d) An institution member has only one voting right.
a) In the event of an ordinary member departing from Ernakulam district, the member may choose to become an outstation member on payment of a one-time fee amounting to the next year’s annual subscription.
b) The member should make his / her intentions clear to the Hon. Secretary in writing and a confirmation of this must be obtained from the Hon. Secretary. The member should provide his / her out station address to the Hon. Secretary.
c) An outstation member does not pay any monthly subscription, but is liable to pay green fees.
d) On return to Kochi, such a member will automatically become an ordinary member and continue to pay monthly subscription. It is the obligation of the member to let the Committee know of his /her return to Cochin.
e) An Outstation member is not allowed to stand for election.
a) Members of the public who are invaluable to the Club maybe proposed to be Honorary members of the club. The proposal must be made by a member and supported by four other members. The proposal must be made in writing addressed to the Managing Committee, whose majority decision will be final.
b) The Managing Committee on its own discretion can award Honorary Membership to members of the public whom they deem to be fit for the membership. The membership can be temporary or for life according to the discretion of the Committee.
c) Existing members who have completed 20 years of regular membership as at the end of any calendar year and are 80 years of age will become eligible to become Honorary Members of the club.
a) Temporary membership is offered to golfers, who are temporarily based within Ernakulam District. Temporary Membership validity shall be 3 years (renewable yearly), with an annual fee of ₹15,000, plus applicable GST.
b) A temporary member will only have playing rights and will not be eligible for voting and any other rights applicable for regular members of the Club.
a) Student Membership is designed to encourage talented school/college students in Ernakulam District to take up and continue playing golf. Such students would be identified by the Club through special programmes conducted for this purpose, either by the Club or in association with any other body conducting such programmes.
b) The Student Membership will be based on a specific application by intending Students and approval by the Managing Committee. Selected students will be provided with the use of the facilities of the Golf Course during the days/times as stipulated from time to time by the Managing Committee.
c) The Student Membership will be exempt from the normal membership fees. The selected Students will be admitted as Student Members of the Club for 12 months, commencing on the date of admission. Student Members shall pay Rs. 5,000.00, plus applicable GST, per 12-month period as a concessional membership fee.
d) Student Membership will automatically cease on the Student Member attaining 18 years of age, discontinuing regular full-time education in school/college within Ernakulam District and/or the expiry of the period of 12 months as indicated above.
e) The Managing Committee would be entitled to terminate any Student Member for any transgression of the rules of the Club being noticed or in case of any violations of the specific directions/instructions issued by the Executive Committee relating to the conduct of the Student Member in the use of the Club facilities.
f) The Managing Committee shall be entitled to grant reduction/ exemption of the Student Membership fee in exceptional cases, considering the talent/potential of the student in the game of Golf and the economic
g) Student members will have only playing rights and will not be eligible to access other Club facilities, privileges, or entitlements, such as voting or any other rights available to other categories of club members.
a) All applications for membership (other than Honorary membership) must be made on the prescribed form, proposed by a member and seconded by two other members of the club.
b) Application for membership will be screened by the Management Committee whose majority decision will be final.
c) The annual subscription and green fees will be as decided by the Club Managing Committee from time to time. There is no annual subscription for Life Members, Institutional Members Outstation Members and Honorary Members.
d) the membership of the Club shall be terminated by;
(i) Resignation after settling all the dues
(ii) By death
(iii) Expulsion for non-payment of dues
(iv) Expulsion on disciplinary grounds
e) Wives and children under the age of 18 years of all members may use the club facilities, without additional subscription.
